Wallace is a town in Duplin county in the U.S. state of North Carolina. The population was 3,344 at the 2000 census.
The Pender County portion of Wallace is part of the Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area.

* Wallace has produced one Major League Baseball player: New York Giants pitcher Hank Boney. (b. October 28, 1903)
* Wallace is also the boyhood home of M. L. Carr who played professionally overseas, and with the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics. He is currently a part owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.
* In the hit tv series One tree hill in episode 6 of season 3 the character of Haley James Scott places a marker on a map of North Carolina showing Tree Hill to be in place of Wallace.
